Silencing the voices of the people is the ultimate authoritarian power grab. Right now, there is a coordinated, well-funded project to undo the Voting Rights Act and strip away the political power of Black and Brown Americans. Through gerrymandered maps, voter roll purges, and controversial Supreme Court rulings, they are trying to drag us back into the days of Jim Crow and decide elections before the voting even starts. A king rules without the people’s consent, and this administration and its enablers want to rule over us. But this is America, and we are not going back. True power belongs to the people!
